Ciria-Cruz is an editor and writer at Pacific News Service and New California Media. He is also a longtime editor of Filipinas Magazine, the only nationally circulated Filipino American magazine, and for ten years was editor-in-chief of Katipunan, a national Filipino political monthly that published out of Berkeley, CA for 19 years. Ciria-Cruz also edited for the Practising Law Institute and Guinness Book of World Records (Sterling Publishing Inc.) in New York, and financial publisher Scheinman-Ciaramella Ltd. in Rome. His articles have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner (Hearst), Japan Today, Google News, Alternet, Berkeley Daily Planet and the Manila Chronicle.
