Previously, he was a senior writer for The American Prospect, of which he remains a senior correspondent. The Atlantic Monthly, Rolling Stone, The New Republic, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, and Salon magazine have published his work, and he appears regularly on television and radio public affairs programs around the country.
